Alexia Akintayo

Alexia Akintayo, a Houston native, discovered her love for dance early, crafting performances and YouTube videos with her inspirational older cousin. Trained in ballet, contemporary, and jazz, she went on to earn her BFA in Dance Theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, studying at both the LA and New York campuses. There, she expanded her artistry to include musical theatre, tap, modern, and acting. Alexia continues to grow as a dynamic performer and storyteller. Her work is a conversation between self and the world, creating space for others to step in and connect.
