Jamel Hewitt didn't find acting, acting found him. Growing up in Miami Florida wasn't very easy because he never could fit in. Jamel always had to much personality to his peers liking. He played football his first two years of highschool as a desperate attempt to make friends. Unfortunately things didn't go as planned until he decided to audition for his highschool musical chicago. There he felt accepted and won multiple awards and genuine friends. He even transferred his personality from the stage to the media where he racked up over 325,00 views on his youtube channel.
