Khwezi Mbekeni

Khwezi Mbekeni, is a multilingual, Johannesburg native, six-time Chess champion, a veteran martial artist and competitive swimmer.  He made his acting debut playing Winston in Athol Fugard's play The Island and holds a BFA in film from AFDA in South Africa. In 2018 Khwezi starred in the Critics’ Choice award-winning short film I Ship It. Come October, he will have earned his second BFA, this time in Acting, from AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Khwezi also writes and animates and is at work on two projects that will showcase those skills.
