Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance

Kayla Bell, a Washington DC native, started dancing at age three at The Davis Center. By 16, she performed with Ballet West, Joffrey Ballet, and collaborated with choreographers like Esperanto Bean and Christopher Huggins. She trained at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, focusing on modern dance and Horton technique. During her time at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Kayla began to discover who she was as an artist. She plans to join a modern/contemporary dance company, pursue Broadway opportunities, and tour with artists, furthering her career in dance and performance.
