Shen Tran

Shen Tran (she/they) is a Vietnamese-American actress. They began performing arts as a spoken word poet at 12 years old in Des Moines, IA. Tran took an interest in acting during high school, participating in community/high school theatre and speech competitions. They continued their training at AMDA College of the Performing Arts where they were recognized for their voiceover work, performed in AMDA’s mainstage/blackbox theater plays, and participated in the short film Ripples (2025), portraying the role of GG. Tran hopes to give power to unsupported communities by lifting their stories up.
